I have many fond memories of Grandad, but one of my favourites is playing hide and seek in his beautiful garden which he loved to look after. The garden was huge and had loads of really good hiding spots - I always used to like hiding round by the vegetable patch, and  Grandad would never give away my hiding spot to my siblings while he was working nearby, he’d just smile and carry on with whatever he was doing so as not to give the game away!
